Cognizant team bags Air India Tourism Quiz prize
The Cognizant Technologies (CTS) team has won the first prize in the 8th Air India Tourism Quiz for Corporates, organised by Asia Pacific Tours in connection with World Tourism Day celebrations.
Teams representing companies from Chennai, Mumbai and other cities participated in the event held at the Aloft Hotel in Chennai on Sunday. Madras Metallurgical Services and KPMG won the second and third prizes respectively.
A total of 67 teams participated in the tourism quiz programme that was inaugurated by Steve Borgia, Managing Director, Indeco Hotels and Madhu Mathen, DyGM, Air India. Air India was the title sponsor of the event.
The winners were awarded Air India tickets to foreign countries, with accommodation facilities arranged by sponsors. Sunil Kishen, Executive Director (South) , Air India, distributed the prizes and Dr. Sivakumar, Director of Pondicherry Tourism, lead sponsor of the event, presented the Rolling Trophy to first prize winners.
Priamvada Viswanathan, Chief Commercial Manager, Passenger Marketing, Southern Railway, Dr. M.K. Ajit Kumar, President & CEO, Asia Pacific Tours and Krishnakumar Menon, General Manager, Aloft Hotels attended the event. Ms. Viswanathan was the quiz master.
